i think one of these might have been in the "99" cent promotion, but i gave that up in order to get 10 dollars off 65 (turned out better for me). we're going on a trip soon and i wanted a few new things :) i also placed an amazon order for less than half as many books for about the same price (maybe a little less) -- i really wanted "the jolly postman" posted from my book request thread and we've wanted our own copy of "people" by peter spier for a long time. other things just hopped in the basket (can we say 4 for 3 promotion?). i have no will power apparently ;) one "extreme" bargain was this:
