"Tykes A Division of Carters" clothes - where are they from??

I just received a cute little outfit from a friend that is a 'Tykes a Division of Carter's' brand and for some reason she removed the price tag so I'm not sure where she bought it (why some people do that when they give a gift, I'll never know!)

Anyway, it's a 0-3 mo. size and my 7 wk. old is already out of that size, so I'd like to exchange it if possible.

Are the Tykes clothes at Target? I know I've seen that label somewhere, but I can't remember where. Wal Mart? KMart? Please help me out. I'd like to try to exchange it even without the tag or gift receipt. It's worth a shot. Sometimes the stores are a bit more lenient with their returns/exchanges after Christmas.

Don't exchange or return there without a receipt too often or you'll be placed on their "Do Not Return" list for a year.

Wal-Mart carries the Tykes brand, too.

Target has become draconian with returns in recent years, so they may take the return but without a receipt they will probably only give you credit for the same (i.e. baby) department.

WalMart does not carry Tykes. They do have a "division of Carters" line, but it is called Child of Mine.

If you have a baby registry at Target, they will let you return it without a receipt for the lowest ticketed price. They will not put you on the do not return list either. You have to print out your registry though, so they can scan the barcode on it. BTW the item you are returning does not have to be on your registry either.
