DD wears target sandals when she needs to be "dressy". Otherwise she wears high top converse (even with dressy things), Uggs or Nike sneakers. She is going to a dinner banquet this weekend and told me she may wear her converse! I have the Steven Madden sneakers linked above and wear them all the time but my DD doesn't like them. My mom, SIL and niece (13) all have them too! Most of the kids around here wear Chaco sandals but they aren't dressy IMO. DD wears the same size shoes as me so she can usually borrow something from me if necessary.
