We have a bunch of Bed, Bath, and Beyond gift cards, but never can find anything there we want. I just realized Buy Buy Baby is owned by the same company (at least I think they are). I'm wondering if I can use my gift cards there. Although it would have to be online, b/c I live on the West coast and they don't have stores out here. Has anyone tried it before?

Yes! Last weekend. It doesn't work on furniture, but it did work on the change pad for the top of my dresser next week.
At some point, I am going to try and use a Babies R Us coupon there too, lol.

I have used a BBB gift card at my buybuybaby too, with no problem. I bought an assortment of baby supplies.
I have also used BBB coupons there, however, my buybuybaby only accepts non-expired BBB coupons and applies the same restrictions as their own coupons (e.g., no discount on Bugaboo, etc). Others have reported varied experiences with both these policies.
