With DH gone I hope to watch a little Netflix to unwind. What do you suggest? Nothing too serious please, although I might enjoy some award winners that people might consider chick flicks.

When my DH isn't around, I like to watch my old favorites: When Harry Met Sally, Sixteen Candles, the Breakfast Club and the Princess Bride. I don't know what it is about those 4 movies but I could watch them a million times.
For tv shows, I love Gilmore Girls and My So Called Life. I am also really enjoying Awkward. on MTV (available streaming on MTV.com). I know, I have the taste in TV shows of a 12 year old girl.
The only new chick flick that I know of and want to watch is Bridesmaids and I might want to watch Friends with Benefits, but I think that is still in theaters.
While You Were Sleeping
Love Actually
When Harry Met Sally
in terms of TV, what about Sex and the City?
I'll try and think of more.
Is Felicity on instant netflix? If so, that's fun. McLeod's Daughters is definitely on netflix and that is a good Australian show.
Return to Me
Only You

Some foreign films to name a few of my fav-
Women on the verge of nervous breakdown

Serendipity.
High Fidelity
Breakfast At Tiffanys
:yeahthat:
Those are 2 of my favorites!!!
I also appreciate The Princess Bride and Steel Magnolias. Magnolias has one of the single BEST ensemble casts ever assembled for public viewing anywhere ever, and I love that movie to pieces. The only thing that comes closest, IMO, is Designing Women - Dixie Carter could give Olympia Dukakis a run for her money!
