I am looking for Elsa and Anna dolls. I looked at the Disney Store online and they didn't have them. Amazon has them, but they're pretty expensive. Anyone know where to get these for a reasonable price?

Not sure, but I have to agree that the Disney Store merch selection has been pretty pathetic for Frozen!
All DD could talk about after seeing the movie was ... Elsa.
All she wants is an Elsa dress-up.
The Disney Store has ... Anna.
Ohhhkaaay.
They cast Idina Menzel as Elsa and don't expect little girls to love her? Oh for shame.
I saw them in my Target a few weeks ago YMMV. They are sold out in a lot of places so the online mark up on them is nuts.
Watch Amazon. I have seen Anna as low as $12.99 and Elsa as low as $14.99 in the past few weeks (I was stalking the castle play set). Maybe set an alert via camelcamelcamel.com.
My TRU has Anna but no Elsa. Same with my Target. I think the price at both is $16.99.
Disney should restock with the movie release March 18th, if you can wait that long.
Our Disney Store said they will have much more in when it comes out on DVD.
I saw lots of Elsa AND Anna at the Disney Store before Christmas. I wonder if Elsa is sold out and ANna is all they have left?
walmart has the singing hands ones for about 30. Elsa's are rarer but the last time I needed one they had 2 and about 12 anna's...
Thanks all! I will wait until the movie comes out in March and try to find them then.
JCPenny had some at one point. I haven't checked in a while though.
DVD release date is 3/18, which is 2 weeks from this Tuesday.
I had trouble finding them before Christmas, but right after I found several at Kroger on sale for 8.99! (the basic one). I think you're going to have to look in places that make less sense, like grocery stores:) With the digital release and DVD release date, I think they're going to be hard to come by.
I have seen a variety of the dolls (Barbie sized and larger dolls) at both of my targets. Every time we go to target my girls have to visit the princess aisle to just look and usually our stores are pretty well stocked in the frozen stuff.
Another vote for Kroger (or an affiliate) --I think ours still has them.
Try Target--ours have them on & off (well, they always have Anna...Elsa seems to come & go).
I haven't seen a regular Elsa in a while, but I've seen the singing Elsa a few times recently at Toys R Us and Target. I suspect it isn't as popular because of the $30+ price tag.
I should add that when I was at Kroger last week, they had a display with the Anna doll (no Elsa to be found, of course) with a $7 off coupon when you buy the movie and a doll. It was a "manufacturer" coupon.
Slightly off-topic, but since is the second thread in a few months about this - I do think it's interesting that Elsa seems way more popular than Anna. Anna has more spunk! But I guess Elsa sings "Let It Go," so....
Back on topic - I've seen them at Target recently, but definitely more Anna dolls.
ITA! After seeing the movie with DS, I thought Anna was the main character, and the one all the littles would be gaga over. Personally I found her much more interesting and likeable than Elsa. But, she doesn't have the "magic hands" (as DS calls them). He's been freezing people for weeks now ;)
Yeah, it is interesting that Elsa is the sought after one. If you check out ebay, Elsa stuff is going for crazy prices. I wonder if the song and magical powers is the only reason for popularity. The character itself isn't all that appealing. I much prefer Anna's character.
I prefer Anna too! Convinced my cousin to get her daughter Anna and not Elsa as the doll to take to the movie because she just seems to much more approachable than Elsa! I don't think her daughter minds... but I'm still taken aback at how popular Elsa is given how the two characters are portrayed in the movie.
Elsa is not pretty. She's not nice. Sure, she has magic. But look at what that magic does! We have a moment at the beginning of the movie where we see a spark of her being the best big sister -- then she freezes everyone out (literally)
Anna is the one who refuses to give up on her sister, who is active and lively. And sure she makes mistakes. But you can't fail without trying -- so its a sign she is TRYING. She doesn't have flashy sparkly hands magic. She's got something better -- a good heart.
