Save me from myself! I have a Battat & Maxim Treehouse- which to keep?

I'm seriously driving myself to drink. First I bought DS a Maxim Deluxe Tree House from Santa. Then I came across a Battat one on ebay and purchased that with the idea of just selling the Maxim one. Now I see a listing for an assembled used one on ebay and I'm not sure I like it anymore. I'm wondering if the Maxim is better quality. Now, I'm not sure which one to keep and don't want to make the wrong decision. I keep going back and forth and can't decide what to do. Meanwhile, I think DH will kill me if he realizes I bought 2 of these things. I gotta get one out of here. Help! Which would you keep?

First, congratulations on actually finding the Battat treehouse! I drove myself close to insane last holiday season looking for the thing!

I looked on ebay at the pictures - and honestly the Battat treehouse looks so much like the Maxim treehouse - I don't think it makes a bit of a difference which one you do have. As for quality - I am really not sure. From what I gather I think Maxim and Battat toys are pretty comparable. The Maxim does have add-ons however, if you think your dc will be really into it.

I do not like our Maxim treehouse and neither does 2 yr old DS. First, it does not stay 'put together' well. THe roof shingles constantly come off and the different levels are loose and wobbly. Also, the 'doors/walls' on the lowest level do not stay in place and come off constantly. I do not know if it was just poor assembly on our part, but I just do not like it.

I have not seen the Battat, so cannot compare.

Ok, I don't know anything about either tree house, but I called Battat CS today and they were really nice. One of my DS toys (that I bought last Christmas) has a broken part and they are sending me a replacement part (free of charge). I totally didn't expect that , so I'd be inclined to buy from them again.
