    Default Target.com glider rocker

I just discovered a fairly nice glider rocker available on target.com. Cushions come standard in a soft khaki velour reversable cover with a choice of two finishes: Honey Oak or Natural Oak for only $199.99 AND it includes the ottoman!!! Does anyone own one and if so how to you like the quality and look?

Desperatley searching for a good quality yet inexpensive glider rocker-:7

I don't know anything about this set, but here's a Dutailier glider and ottoman SET for $280. A little more than the Target set, but might be worth it for a top brand!

BTW, I ordered a changing table from Kids Palace last week and while I wasn't blown away by their service, I did get exactly what I ordered in about a week. And the price was right.

I don't know anything about this rocker either, however I did see a glider at Walmart for $89.99 about a month ago. I think it even came with an ottoman, but can't say for sure. HTH

After further glider investigation, I found out that the manufacturer is Shermag. Shermag sells two exclusive styles to Target.com that cannot be found in any other store. I beleive Burlington carries the same brand but different styles.

I went ahead with my instinct and purchased the glider/ottoman combo for $299.00. We received it within days and put it together that night. Very easy assembly. We love it. It glides smoothly and is very attractive. We love the neautral color and find it very comfortable. The high back is really nice, too. No, it's not Dutalier qualtiy but will definately serve its purpose. I would definately recommend this to someone who wants a glider but wants to save on the cost.

The other nice thing is that we had two target gift cards which were glady accepted on line. Get on Taget's mailing list. They often run nice promotions.

I'll update you after baby is here and I get more use. Due Nov.8th.

I went with the Kids Palace deal on a Dutalier glider and so far, I'm not impressed one bit. The box did arrive in three days, which was great, but once I opened it up, I realized that the frame to the chair (the upper body portion) was severely, irreparably damaged, with the wooden frame completely split in half. The box had been opened before they shipped it to me (invoice inside instead of in a packet on the outside of a factory sealed box). The box literally looked like it had fallen off the back of a truck.

That day I sent six digital photos of the damage and also used their online email form to inform them of my problem. I did not get a response until I called them. Someone said that she'd call back by the end of the next day and did not. I called again the following business day and a "Victor" said that he was in the process of shipping a new chair out to me. We'll see whether that occurs or not.

In short, caveat emptor. If you need the chair in a short time frame, don't go this direction to try to save dollars. Thankfully, I have a few more months to go before I need to glide in my glider.

Just thought that I would chime in about the walmart glider with ottoman. I friend on mine bought this item last year in September when she just had her baby. The glider was a broken within the baby's first month. The pad was worn out after three months (and after haveing to fix it several times) In my opinion, it is a perfect example of you get what you pay for. Amy

Would love to hear an update on the glider! I am considering purchasing one. Which model do you have, the Deluxe or th Deluxe Sleigh? I really want a glider, but can't see spending more than $300. I hope this one works out becuase it seems like my only option.

    TIA!!
