    Default cradle mattress

    Hello All

I received a family cradle from my parents. It meets a rigorous safety inspection. Now I need to find a mattress for it. My concern is that all the cradle pads are not firm at all. Everything says that you want a firm mattress for baby. Are there any firm mattresses for a cradle? Where can I find them? Has anyone used the regular pads that you find at Babiesrus, baby depot, etc? Are my worries about the mattress being too soft, legit?

    Thanks for your help.

    Hello,
I'm in a similar situation -- my mom bought an old-fashioned cradle to keep in her part of the house (she lives with me). In looking for a cradle pad I decided to opt for the Colgate brand b/c it is top-recommended and what we bought for the crib. They offer cradle pads in a variety of sizes. Go to this link:

    Good luck!
