Default Is crib knee release childproof?

Has anyone had any problems with their child releasing the side of a knee-release crib on their own? Any injuries?

My husband tested some cribs at BRU by shaking the side from the inside to try to simulate a baby/toddler grabbing the side rails and shaking them. On some cribs (especially the more expensive ones with really smooth releases), the side dropped right down - fast! I wasn't sure if this was a realistic test, and wanted to know if anyone has had any problems.

    Thanks!

I don't know, but Jacob never released the side rail on his crib. But I don't think he ever grabbed hold and tried to shake it. He has tried to climb it in the past and has not released the rail.

Never had the side go down due to baby's actions. Believe me, DD#1 had some pretty intense tantrums in her crib when she was younger. Once, she thrashed about hard enough to make a wheel fall out (granted it wasn't in very well, but still...)
