Default The Children's Place sizing help

The Children's Place has some adorable clothes I want to get for DD for play -- good prices and easy to match up -- but I need sizing help. According to their sizing chart, she should be in an 18 month -- I'm just afraid she'll grow out of it too quickly -- she's 25/26 pounds and 32 inches. 18-24 months is supposed to go to 34 inches and 29 pounds -- so is the sizing true to the chart and do they shrink??

    Thanks

Ds should have been in size 24m according to their size chart. (he's 25lbs. and 32") But the 24m overalls I bought him were huge, and they didn't shrink at all. Hope this doesn't confuse things more for you.

My DS#2 is 27 lbs. and 34" tall and wears 18-24 months from Children's Place. I have had trouble with their sizing in the past -- they ran a whole size small, but in the last year, it seems like they've corrected the problem.

As far as shrikage, some of their stuff does and some doesn't.

My son is 27 pounds and 34-35 inches. He has several pairs of pants in the 18-24 size that are a perfect fit- but he'll outgrown them in the next two months I think. (But he does have one pair that is 18-24 that is huge!) He also has some shirts in the 18-24 month size, but I've put them in the donation pile because they are getting too tight. The 2T shirts fit great right now, and I think he'll wear them into fall. So, I think the sizing chart is pretty true, from my experience.
