Do HA wiggle pants fit big??

Specifically, do they tend to run big in the waist? DD is about 30" long and 22 pounds, and has worn size 80 in HA pants before, but this is the first pair of wiggle pants I've bought. I tried them on her and they fit beautifully in the legs and the length was great, but the waistband is about an inch too wide! Does this sound right? Do the wiggle pants have quite wide waists?? Or is it possible that this pair was mis-sized? It just seems odd that they would fit right everywhere but the waist - DD is, to use my favourite euphemism, "fluffy", so she seems to be right in the size range for 80. Any ideas? Anybody find the wiggle pants to fit large??

My son is 31 inches long and 22 pounds and still in the 70s we bought in late winter. While I just ordered 80s zippers and pjs for him in the summer, the waistband of his 70s is still a little loose, and that's with cloth diapers. I'm thinking of buying a different brand in the fall until he fills out.

So, yes, my experience has been that the 80s are too big in the waist for a long and skinny baby.

Yup. DD has the exact same measurements and the size 80 wiggle pants are too big in the waist. They stay on just fine of she has a onesie on with them, but they slip down with a regular t-shirt.

My DS is a big boy and we have the 80 and 90 wiggle pants. I love them because they fit him so nice and they are easy to pull up and down for potty training.

That is what led me to them originally since we cloth diaper.
