Default warm, cute, no-skid slippers? any ideas?

I am looking for a pair of slippers for my daughter. She is a shoe size 5 (I might buy a size 6 so she can grow into it). She is not quite a year old, but is walking. And our house is all hardwood floors. So I need to find her something to wear around the house so she won't slip but her feet will stay warm - oh and I want the soles to be flexible since she is an early walker. (I dont ask for much do it?) I was looking at the hanna mocassins, but I am not sure how non-slip the soles would be.

    Does anyone have any ideas?

We just got the LLBean Animal Paws slippers, and DS loves them. They seem warm and cozy and have non-skid bottoms.

We have the Hanna mocs for DD and they are very non-slip, even on our hardwood floors. They are also nice and trim so they don't impede her walking like some of the puffier slippers did.

I second Hanna mocs. We just got our first pair, and they are great. We did Robeez plus socks last winter, but this is much easier, and not tight around ankles. (We also have hardwood floors throughout.)

Yea, I think Hanna mocs are a great solution for you. My 2 yo DD prefers hers over any other slippers.

I just saw these non-skid fleece socks at LE too:

Thanks! I think I will get the Hanna Mocs (and maybe a pair of non skid socks too) but now I am going to have to summon up some major willpower to order the mocs from Hanna and nothing else. Or, maybe just one zipper wouldnt hurt ...

Soft star makes mocs, all of which are sheepskin-lined. I just ordered some!

If you are set on going with Hanna mocs, make sure to check Nowali ones as well. From what I understand they make Hanna mocs and have a much wider selection, like three pages of various options. HTH!
