Default Christening Suit/Romper for DS; Not Satin!

The satin ones are so not my style and the kints just aren't dressy enough. I've looked in the local shops (and consignment) and they are all too small (DS is in 12-18 mos) or satin (plus they are usually short sleeved/shorts.

I need help finding a long sleeved pant suit and I need it for less than $50. :)

One small child seems to have bought out all the links I found under the search. :(

I can't get the actual link to this one to show up. but go to the site and enter PAH105 as the Catalog # and it will show up as a small picture on the left. It's a Petit Ami for $33. The green dress will disappear and it will show up in the larger window. CRAZY website.

Oh yeah...there's a great green dress there as well :-)

This is the one that we bought for Logan's blessing. It is cotton knit, but I thought it was dressy enough for the occasion and it was definitely my style. I didn't want satin either:

I think you posted this before I recall seeing it while I was searching the archives. :)

Beautiful and absolutely what I want, but doesn't come in his size.

This is out of your price range, but I thought I'd share anyway. . . We used the suit at the bottom of the page. It runs a bit small and DS barely fit in the biggest size at 17 months. . . .

I have seen a beautiful boys' set at Janie and Jack, though I don't see it on the website. It's probably $$ but it could become an heirloom. ;)

Also Talbot's Kids has had nice ones before, though currently the website only shows a (gorgeous) gown (way too long if DS is crawling though).

If you have either of those stores local to you, it might be worth calling to ask what they have.

    Good luck!

    Mary
