In your opinion, who makes the best basic jeans for toddler girls? By basic, I mean no appliques or decorations - just plain jeans.
Maddie is generally wearing a size 3T at this point. What are your opinions?

I always get my dd jeans from the boy section at Target. I have to go to the boy section to escape the decorations. They fit just the same but are plain.
HTH!

Children's Place denim looks great on DD and they are inexpensive. I think I have seem people complain about a low rise but they work perfectly for her. And they have an adjustable waist.
I always love the look of babyGap jeans but the price is usually more than I want to pay.
Target and ON jeans just don't fit quite right for some reason.
It was such a hard time finding a fit for my tall, skinny ds. BabyGap ones were the best fit so that's what I bought.

hands down: TCP for toddler girls. they're 2 for $22 which is a great price as well. they have adjustable waists now, but beware: they run a bit long (i think that's the style they're going for...TCP's always got coupons floating around. i get all DD's jeans from there.

I like BabyGap, but I don't know if they always carry simple ones.

My favorite jeans for DD have come from Target. Some of them have a little embroidery on the back pockets, but it tends to be basic enough for me. And sometimes they have no embroidery anywhere and are plain. The fit seems to work well for my DD.
Our Osh Kosh outlet sometimes has good, plain jeans too.
We've had the best luck with TCP also. I just stick with the plainer styles. They have fit DD1 great and DD2 well also. The last pair I got for DD2 this past spring are totally wonky - they are 24mos, but must have been mismarked because they were HUGE and she's not a small kid. I kept them and figure they'll fit this fall/winter. They seem to the exception, though, because all of our other pairs from there have been fantastic. We tried some plain Riders (Lee?) from Walmart at about that size and they were too tight around the waist for even my skinny DD1. They fit fine everywhere else but she really complained about the waist. Not a chance they'll work on DD2!
ETA: correct jean size
Kohl's jeans are great for us - they run them frequently 2/18.00. My DD is tall and skinny and these literally are the only jeans that fit her.
