    Default Toddler Toilet

I dont know if this should go here or in the diapers catagory but maybe you all can help me. I want to get avi a little toilet. I think if we keep it around for a little bit before we start to train him it will be easier. It would be great if this toilet would fold or something for travel but if not thats ok. Avi is going away for ~3 weeks in April so probably during the summer we will start to train him but i want to get him a little potty so that he is not as shocked when we get it out. I know that he is very young but he is very smart and verbal for his age so i think he might be ok if we start this early.

Thanks for any and all advice on this topic!

    Hi Ilana!

We have the Bjorn seat. It's small and lightweight for car travel, but doesn't fold or anything. My DS used it a few times but prefers the adult toilet. Your post is reminding me that i do need to put the Bjorn in the car trunk. We've been night PTing for the last 2 nights w/ some success.

We have the Baby Bjorn Potty Chair for the house and we have the On the Go Potty for travel.

DS is almost 2 and we've been using a cheap-o potty from Target. It is by Bebe JouJou and it was on an endcap when we bought it... a whopping 6.99. I didn't think DS would be interested in it but he's peeing pretty regularly in it. (although yesterday decided he wanted nothing to do w/ it all day, but he will often go 7-8 times a day in it when he's in the mood). The potty we found comes in a bright green, blue, or a salmony red.

I figured we'd buy a cheap one, and it could always be a back-up potty for a different bathroom or I could keep it in the car. It has been working out fine so far. It is all one piece and it looks like the Little Potty by Baby Bjorn (which itself is still only 9.99 I think?).

We just brought it home and DS basically tried it out on his own. He's never enjoyed sitting on the big potty. We try to keep it low-pressure and just leave it out as an option for him. He has days where he'll only use it once or twice and days where he'll use it all day long.

    Good luck :)
