    Default PBK Playmat

Just wanted to let evryone know that PBK has a REALLY nice playmat out. I hadn't paid much attention to it (it's under the dollhouse) but checked it out last week and bought it. It's beautiful! Made of a really sturdy paperboard that folds into thirds for storage, a watercolour look to it, covered in paths, a veggie patch, an apple orchard and little pond and sandbox.
I paid about $28 for it so I imagine that it's about $15-18 US. It's totally worth it - we've got a bunch of Scleich and some Holztiger animals and they're having a blast, Chloe's teeny dolls are having fun wandering on it too!
Just a fyi in case you missed it in store, makes a cute Spring gift.

I don't know how to post a link and can't find it on the website. Sorry. It's part of the "Westport dollhouse" collection and you can try calling the store to see if they have it in stock.
    Good luck!

    Those are cute!

I've been meaning to make a playmat for my DS, but haven't gotten to it yet. I have the materials but not the time!

Anyway, I figured I'd post a link to this WAHM site that sells adorable embroidered and painted playmats if anyone is interested in other options. I'm going to try to do something along the lines of the painted playmats here (or maybe wet/needle felt it instead):
