We got the black diaper bag. My husband didn't want to be carrying around a red diaper bag so we got the black.

I don't think the napper bar will get easier to remove with use. Easy to put on, but a pain in the butt to take off. I just left it off while I was using the bassinet (I stored it in the basket along with the rain cover since the basket is not convenient for daily use with the bassinet on). That way if I did happen to need it (which was not often because I never faced the bassinet away from me) I could always put it on.

Now that we have the stroller seat on (we put ours on at around 11 weeks as well!), it's easy to just lift her in without having to remove it. But probably as she gets older and can start climbing in by herself (like around 3 or so) I'll just leave it off and in the basket again. I guess in one way it's good in that when I lift the seat off with DD in it, I KNOW it will never fall off!
