    Default stroller advice

Any advice would be welcomed about the following strollers:

    Inglesina Zippy
    Maclaren Techno XT
    Maclaren Global Buggy
    Zooper Sport Cool Zone
    Zooper Z-Street Cool Zone

I am especially interested in ease of use in terms of folding and the ability to reach storage basket in a full recline mode.

    Thanks

I have a Zooper Z-street (not a cool zone). It folds easily, though it is a two-hand fold, and the folds locks in place. In my Honda Accord, I can fit it vertically and have a lot of leftover trunk room for groceries, etc. In full recline, it is possible to reach the basket, though I usually do so via the front. Remember that it's not a huge basket, though I can manage to get my winter coat in it while DD is asleep in the stroller.

I love the z-Street and always get comments on it. Good luck with your decision!

I have the 2002 Mac Global. If you do a search, you'll find several threads about it. The consensus on the boards (at least the Global owners who have posted) is that this stroller is a dud. Not sure if it's changed, but the basket on mine is pretty inaccessible when it's fully reclined. I've been able to shove things in or pull out things, but not very easily.

    Re: Mac Techno XL
Loved it (easy to manouver, lightweight, felt sturdy, held up against wind and rain) until after 4 mon of use the front wheel just broke off while strolling. Many parents on this board have complaints about wheel breakage. Also, at Strollercize in NYC, they even sent a head's up note around to participants about a model of the Techno where the brakes didn't work. Owners had to send away for replacement parts; MacLaren didn't issue a recall.

I have heard about great quality of Zooper Z-Street, that they do not break.

    Good luck.
