Default Need recommendation for jogging stroller for NYC

Can anyone recommend a jogging stroller for use for power walking, strollercise in central park, walks on the beach in summer, and occasional jogging? Buying for SIL as baby gift, so for use with an infant if possible. I am overwhelmed with the choices!

We have the Maclaren Mac 3 and love it. It's a really smooth ride, adjustable handle height. We have a paved trail in front of our house and use it virtually every day.

Mountain Buggy - it's pricey, but it's really the best. I'm sure others around here would agree!!

How young a baby can you put in either the Mac 3 or the MBUS? Thanks for the input..

Did you know it's not safe to jog with an infant? They can't take all the bumps and jostles at least until 6 months old, some people say it's better to wait until a year.

That said, you can definitely use the MB for walking an infant. If you feel safer, you can buy the carrycot attachment. They weren't out yet when I got mine, but I felt the recline was sufficient for a newborn. Lots of people just buy sheepskin inserts, or snuzzlers.

For her uses, I would recommend the Terrain over the Urban.

Not sure about the Mac, but you can check it on their website:
