    Default Stroller OVERLOAD New Mom

I'm expecting my first baby and have been doing alot of research on strollers. I still can't not decide what features are important and what brand to buy? I've read great things about the P3 on this web site, I like the Hip Hop P3 but, is it really worth $450 for the TS?
I would only like to invest in one stoller. I've noticed many mother have more than one, financial,I hope to avoid this. Please offer advice on making a purchase.
Wow,I feel so inapt. I'm accepting my first in Aug. so no baby yet.
-I live in Michigan so for nine months out of the year, give or take it will mall crawling and the few warm months on not the best sidewalk.
-I'm not that strong yet,so weight might be an issue in the beginning while I get accilmated to the whole experience.
-We will be getting a mini-van and I do have a basement with just a few steps to store during the winter. Right now I have a Subaru.
-To be honest the reason I like the P3 Hip Hop is because of its color and the toddler standing bar in the back to prepare for the second child.
    - I want a quality stroller, comfortable for the baby.
    - I do want a quick and easy fold.
-I was thinking a good size basket.
    - Does a child tray matter and an adult bev. holder?
    - Is it unreasonable to just have one stroller?
    - I've read the Snugride is the way to go. So I would like to use it w/ any of the above strollers.
    Thanks for the help.

I'll save you hours of reading through threads asking/answering questions similar to yours:

Skip the travel system. Buy a P3 and a Snugride.

I'm new at this posting so I'm not sure where to post.
I've looked at these; P3,Peg Perego Venezia,Bumble Ride Flyer,Maclaren Global or Bertini M5. They all seem compareable. Does anyone have any experiences with any of these? I feel like I'm buying a car.

I felt the same way just a few months ago, finally decided on a P3 and a snugride and could not be happier with my decision :)

Another vote for the P3 and Snugride. I believe you can't use the PP car seat w/out a base and I think kids seem to grow out of it sooner.

P3 and a Snugride. However, make sure you get the 2005 P3. the 2004's don't accept anything but the Primo Viaggio carseat. Do not get the Primo Viaggio carseat. I made that mistake and I am very unhappy with it.

I love my P3. We use a Britax Companion in it, but he really prefers just to ride in the stroller, it's much more comfortable for him.

I agree with getting the P3 and the Sungride. Also, you CAN use the Snugride in 2004 P3s as well as the 2005s. The only difference is that the 2005s come with a strap to help secure the infant carrier in the stroller. I learned from other moms here that you can use a bungee cord or luggage strap to further secure the the carrier if you have a 2004 P3.
