Default Tall 3 yr old - Bob Revolution Duallie & MBUD

Right now we have a MBUD '04 and we really like. The problem is that my 3 yr old is already over 40 inches and his head is touching the canopy. I just started looking at the Bob Revolution Duallie and I love the dual canopies and one swivel wheel. Is this a better stroller for a tall child? I also like the fact that my dh can actually jog with it. With the REI 20% sale right now...it is really enticing. Any thoughts?

Do you know where I could find it online? I did a quick search and could only find the single Dreamer Design Manhattan. TIA! :)

You can get them for a good price on Ebay right now, but the new one with the front swivel wheel isn't out to the end of the month, so it is presale. I actually have a tall toddler too and this is one i'm looking at.

I'm in the same boat too, and I went to REI yesterday to try out the Bob stroller. They didn't have the double in stock, but I put my toddler in the single and HE DIDN'T FIT!! I couldn't believe it because I thought for sure he would. So, its the Dreamer Design Ditto for me. I bought a 2005 model for $324 from joggingstroller.com. You can get them $15-20 cheaper on Ebay, but I wanted to buy from an actual merchant with a phone number.

Thanks mamabella for the info! I was worried that ds wouldn't fit either. I'll have to check out the Dreamer Design Ditto too. Thanks again :)

I'm also in the same boat and just got off the phone with Dreamer Design. They said the seated height (from seat to canopy) is only 20.5 inches. For my 40" tall toddler, that is too short.

Save yourself a lot of $ and just buy the X Tall canopy. It makes a world of difference. Unless, of course, you just want a new stroller! ;)

Wanted to add that my 4 and 7 yr old rode all around Disneyland in my MBUD w/ the X Tall canopy last week. They both fit fine.
