Default Umbrella stroller for a tall mama?

Do they make such a thing?

I'm 6' and pretty much all legs, and I kick the back of every umbrella I've tested. Is there anything out there that will work for me? Or am I destined to lug my heavy jogger around everywhere?

    TIA!

The biggest mistake I made is the one that most of us make...I did not live in the moment enough. I wish I had not been in such a hurry to get on to the next thing: dinner, bath, book bed. I wish I had treasured the doing a little more and the getting it done a little less. - Anna Quindlen

The Maclaren Techno has adjustable handles, so it goes pretty high. Inglesinas are tall, as are the older Kidcos.

Have you tried the Maclaren Techno with the adjustable handles? Mac tends to be the favourite for tall parents and the Techno has the adjustable handles making the stroller further away than the parent's strides.

The Aria I just bought is pretty tall-its the OH model not the old one. Not near as tall as the Macs oe Kidco though. I love the fold & how lightweight it is.

I'm 6' also and I love my baby jogger!! But, that of course, isn't an umbrella. I have a Mac Volo and a Zippy. The Mac seems to be a bit taller than the Zippy, but I only use if for travel. I decided on the Zippy for my everyday umbrella (in the car stroller) because it has better overall features, and the handle height is doable, but not perfect.

In one of my parenting magazines there is a section called "what I couldn't live without". I can't find the magazine anywhere, but a few months back, a lady wrote in (and included a picture) about an umbrella stroller made just for tall people. I have searched high and low for that magazine, but I can't find it! Sorry! Maybe this post will jog someone's memory!

I saw something like that in a magazine too. Is this what you saw?

I might just end up getting a Mac though, since the quality of this tall stroller looks questionable.

My husband is a touch taller than you and has ridiculously long legs. He has never kicked the back of the Maclaren Techno we have. I am tall (not as tall as you) and I love it as well. We don't use it often anymore (Toby is FOUR :) ) but we used it heavily when he was still riding. I can't say good enough things about it.
