Default Protecting sliding screen doors from being pushed in

DS loves to look outside. He pushes on the screen part of the doorwall and the screen is already getting dented and loose. Is there something that we can put in front of the screen to protect it? Something clear so he can still see out.

Measure your screen door, then go to Home Depot and buy a protective grate. It attaches on the outside. It's not clear, more like a mesh, but it's the only thing we've found.

If your DH is handy, maybe he can attach some plexi instead?

Two good ideas. I'm off to HD tomorrow!

DH is handy, but I'd probably end up attaching either of them myself :).

    Thank you, Deb.

I just wanted to add that the grates are in the aisle with the screen doors (or thereabouts). They are basically a white metal mesh piece that goes about halfway up your door. I had no problem finding them. They come in several basic widths, you just have to know how big your door is.
