    Default What are your favors?

Hi everyone, I wanted to know what everyone was doing for their favors. I am having soap from http://www.specialtysoapshop.com. I was thinking of doing a candy bar too. I'm also getting matchbooks. Gotta have them. Let me know what you are doing.

    Those are cute!

I bought satin favor bags in red (from ebay) and we're filling them up with cherry cordial hershey's kisses. The tags I also found on ebay, some cute oval ones with our names on them.

We're probably going to do photo coasters (50 cents each and reasonable shipping on FavorFavor.com).

We are also going to make some pet-rocks to go with our nature theme. (a few family members are helping out with that). :-) We may write our name & wedding date on the bottom, if there's room.

I am most likely going to give seed packets of my favorite flowers. I will attach a card to the front of them telling our guets thank-you and their table. The type of flower they have will be the same as their table.

    Default Favorwarehouse.com

I'm getting my favors from www.favorwarehouse.com. I'm thinking of getting the double-heart keychain:

    http://www.favorwarehouse.com/favors/d3070.html

I'm torn though because I also like these:

    http://www.favorwarehouse.com/favors/f4201.html (ice cream scoop)

    http://www.favorwarehouse.com/favors/d3400.html (coffee scoop)

I want a favor that my guests can use for months (even years) to come. This site can even personalize stickers or ribbons for the favors.

My future mother-in-law has a mug that she received at a wedding; it's personalized with the couples' names, their wedding date, and a little image (wedding rings I think...). They are so cute! I'm thinking that's the way I'd like to go, but I'm still trying to find a site where I can get them for cheap. Any ideas?

    Default flower seeds?

Lostinthemission says she will give flower seeds - here's a really neat idea: http://www.floralnotes.com/ I'm planning on doing this. They take your bouquet after the ceremony and use the petals to make paper which then gets made into thank you cards that have seeds embedded in them, so your guests have a lasting memory from the wedding! very cool! (and recycling is always good!)

    Default fun favors

We're thinking of getting those M&Ms with our photos on them and because I KNOW there will be crying: http://www.thetissuestore.com/Store_...ts.asp?Cat=263 pocket packs of tissue with wedding designs! My friend gave tiny jars of local jams and jelly (guava and other tropical flavors) tied up with ribbon at her destination wedding (Jamaica) and we're going to do the same thing at our Montana destination wedding. (Did you know huckleberries only grow in the mountains?) And boy do they taste GOOD!

We're doing home made chocolates (a friend has offered to make them as her wedding gift to us, though we'll insist on paying for the ingredients still I'm sure) and we have a bunch of little white plastic takeout boxes I got from a local dollar store (3 containers for 1 buck, woohoo!) to hold the chocolates in... the containers are actually pretty cute and some people may even reuse them (I know I'll use any leftovers we magically have)

    Default My Favor Idea

Since money is something I dont like to waste. I thought of giving a donation to an organization that is dear to my heart on behalf of my guests. For ex) my uncle had Cancer, so I am making a donation to the cancer society. I think we will have cards made to inform each guest what we did and the money goes to a good cause! How many favors i have gotten from weddings and thrown away!!!
