Trying To Pick A Career Path-Help!
I am looking to do something *like* Pampered Chef or Mary Kay to bide my time my dh is deployed. I do not want to do the following as too many people around here already have their hands in it:
Body Shop at Home, Mary Kay,Avon,Pampered Chef, Longaberger,Southern Living,Tupperware, Tastefully Simple, Creative Memories, Stampin' Up,etc
Does anyone know of any other businesses I could get involved with?

What about Partylite? This is the one that sells candles (and accessories for candles). This is the only other one I can think of that wasn't listed. You could get more info at:

I'll let you know if I think of anything else.

From what I have read, you seem to have an interest in children's clothing and design. Have you checked out any of the children's clothing homeshow lines? You could be a rep for a kids line and get free clothes as part of the deal. It sounds like fun to me. :)

Yes, Kelly's Kids! My girlfriend does it and loves it. The clothes are adorable and she gets a nice discount on them.

Check out the Web site and click Be a Rep. Good luck!! :)

You could try discovery toys also, my friend does it and she said the discount is good. Good luck! And I hope the deployment is over fast and your dh comes home safe.

I second the Discovery Toys idea. I love their toys and have always had fun at their parties. I had a friend who did it for a while and she enjoyed it!

A woman in my mom's group at church sells for the Homemade Gourmet. They have been primarily in Texas and Oklahoma so it might be new to your area. Their dips, breads, etc. are the best I have tasted!!!:) If you are interested, their website is:

Another idea is Usborne books. I'm not sure if you are familiar with them, but they sell children's books through home parties. Their books are my son's absolute favorite and I just purchased a few more through a local representative several weeks ago. Their website is:

Good luck! :)
