My experience at Baby Class

Hi everyone.

DH and I are expecting our first baby (a boy) Jan. 19. We have been going to childbirth classes, and today was the last class, which covered babycare and breastfeeding. I realized sitting in class today how much of a "head start" I have from the amount of reading/research I have done, and especially from being here on the boards. It seemed like I knew so much more than a lot of folks in class, and I can directly attribute it to hanging out here! So, thanks everyone who participates. We have such a helpful, supportive group here and today I realized how lucky I am to be a part of it.

Once the 19th is here, I'm sure I will go right back to being clueless. ;-)

Congratulations! I was just at a holiday party with Shannon (sntm) and we agreed that all we learned about being mommies is from this board! I second your thank you to everyone, and wish everyone Happy Holidays :)
