Hi everyone! We just got home from a long weekend in Disney World, and I thought I'd share the AWESOME crib that the hotel provided us (at no extra cost BTW). Normally, we just get a Pack N Play or crappy looking crib, but I was SO impressed with this one, I just have to share. :)
We stayed at Disney's Swan and Dolphin hotel. The crib was a nice white, metal travel crib on big wheels (for ease of movement). It had a real crib sheet, which was very cute in a blue and white cloud motiff. There was even a really nice white mini-crib bumper (with the nice velcro dual attachments) in the same white fabric as the awesome down comforter that was on our beds. They even included a high-quality white baby blanket. Gabe was in heaven! I would stay here again just so we can use the crib again. :)
I'll also add that we've stayed at a lot of the "deluxe" Disney resorts, and even though this one didn't "wow" me with their service, I have to say that their rooms and beds are THE best around. This was hands down the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in while on vacation. The room itself was gorgeous too, designed and decorated by Michael Graves, it featured light maple furnishings, frosted blue glass accents on the dressers, brushed stainless steel lamps and hardware, modern (not cheesy) art, dual marble sinks, and even a cute Michael Graves alarm clock. Very classy.
