Default 101 Crafty Uses for Old Burp Cloths!

Okay creative parents...lets come up with 101 creative uses for those old burp cloths!

I bought 3 dozen of those Gerber cloth diapers to use as burp cloths, and loved them, but now they're everywhere! I need some creative uses for these things!

    1. Dusting Cloth
    2. Sew two together, add a ribbon, and use as a drawstring pouch for junk
    3. Regift :(

Okay, I'm out! Now you add your creative uses!!!!

I have a friend that used them as batting for a baby quilt.

LEts see in our house they are used as doll blankets and pillows, blankets to cover the cats (LOL) cut them up to make baby wipes? Use them as padding for packing away breakables, cut a neck in them and make bibs, dye them different colors and use them as those rainbow scarf thingys for kids to use their imagination hehehehe

thats all I got for now!

Lol, mine are sitting in a drawer. SIL is expecting in Feb. so I'm just going to give them all to her. I keep one in my diaper bag to put under DS while changing (extra padding :) ).

I have the birdseye ones. I hated them as burp cloths but now love them as cleanup cloths after dd eats. A new one for each meal! Wipe off baby, wipe off tray, table, high chair, and floor (in that order). Then toss in the laundry! Love it. I keep them in the cloth napkin drawer, right next to dd's high chair.

I purposefully cultivated them as "lovies"! James sleeps with one every night, and when one gets gross I just take it and throw a clean one into the crib! (I should add that he showed no preference of his own for any other kind of lovie - it's not like I deprived him of a stuffed bear or anything like that! :) ).

Use them to clean up accidents when toilet training, and always keep one in your diaper bag for clean-ups of all sorts. After a long hiatus, my cloth diapers are getting some action again!

My cousin says they are great for little ones with colds - not as irratating as kleenex.

I use them for clean-up too. I have a drawer in the kitchen filled with wash cloths and old burp cloths. I use them to wipe the kids down after meals, clean up spills on the floor...on the coffee table...on the dogs :) I'm amazed at how many places these kids can find to spill things.

I also always carry one in my diaper bag for clean ups.

I use them in place of cheesecloth in the kitchen.
