    I'm sorry that your DD has such a bad cold. I think you'll find that the nebulizer will really help. Charlie's had a few nebulizer w/albuterol treatments (we ended up buying a nebulizer). Between 5-8 months he had a few bad colds, one which developed into viral pneumonia. He did really well w/the treatments and his condition improved very quickly. Fortunately none of his colds have been as bad since.

    Thanks for the information everyone. The steroid is an oral steroid -prednisone. Not sure what its supposed to do.

    So far we've done 2 treatments. The second treatment seemed to have more of an affect than the first. We have to do it every 3 hours for a day.
