Default Disney Fabric- assume it is trademarked is there a source out there for it

I wondered if Joannes or any of those carry Disney fabric. Specifically looking for the red with white dots of Minnie Mouse for the Bronwyn.

    Thanks,

I'm not sure if there is "official" Disney fabric out there (don't forget to check out Walmart, too), but there must be similar fabrics out there. I found a few when I searched on ebay under "minnie mouse fabric" (sorry....I tried to post a link and it kept attaching my ebay info!) :)

    Neve,

Are you looking for red with white polka dots for a Minnie Mouse costume, or red with Minnie Mouse printed on it?

Also, do you have a preference for material? Cotton, cotton blend, flannel?

Let me know and I'll do some hunting for you :)

no real preferences just want to make the princess a cute skirt or something fun!!!!

I'm th8inking cotton but heck what do I know????

and it doesnt' need to be "official" just assumed they probably have a trademark knowing Disney on such things.

Looking for red with white dots!!!!!

    Thank you!!!!
I am just starting my search but my computer time is so sporadic that any searches are quickly interupted!!! :)

Oh so cute...that is what I am looking for I think!!!!
Didn't need to sound like it needed to be official just assumed Disney has such a thing if that makes sense :)

I have actually had the best luck finding disney fabric at walmart. I know they had a ton of winnie the pooh and disney princess stuff last time I looked. The joann's by me didn't have any disney stuff when we were making the curtains and crib stuff for madeline.

    I found this site: http://www.fabricfindersinc.com/piques.shtml

It doesn't sell retail directly, but there's a link for retail stores right on this page that has lots of places listed, so maybe it has somewhere near you.

The fabric looks somewhat expensive, but for a baby's skirt, you won't need too much, thank goodness :)

My local Hancock Fabrics has the polka dots and few other things. As PP said, Wal-Mart seems to be a good source. Sometimes Hobby Lobby also has the licensed desings.

Wash this separately from other things until you know how it is behaving. These tend to bleed, in my experience.

I was at Joanne Etc this afternoon buying tulle for a ghost costume, a la Martha Stewart from about 20 years ago..., and the woman in front of me in line was having red fabric with big white polkadots cut for her daughter's Minnie Mouse costume.

    Neve,

I've definitely seen Pooh fabric at Joann's; not sure about Minnie - but I wasn't looking, either. I think Disney licenses the characters out - so you should be able to find fabric relatively easily.
