We decided that my mom would be called Nana. But as a family, we can not agree on how to spell it. What do you all think?

My best friend had a Nana. In fact, everyone called her Nana. I've seen it spelled this way on greeting cards too, but I don't know if I've seen Nanna (not that it would matter, just a thought).
My paternal grandmother was Nana to EVERYONE! Even years after she's been gone family friends still talk about "nana!"

My Mom insisted on being called "Nana" so that it would be easier to teach DS how to pronounce her name. ;) I didn't know that it could be spelled any other way.
My mother is called Nana. We even found a bib that says I love Nana. She was thrilled.
My great-grandmother was called Nanny.

My mom is Nana. I've never seen it spelled Nanna.
Ds started it as soon as he could talk so it stuck. My mil is grandma and great-grandma is GG. Growing up my brother and I called her gram, she said she wanted the kids to call her gg once I had my own kids.
never heard of Nana being spelled with two N's.....
my mil is nana.. she calls her self this and spells it this way. i guess i always think of banana....
never heard of nanna.. kind of like it. it might be hard to find things spelt this way..
Thank you all.
Nana it is then! My dad is the one who thought it should be spelled Nanna. We are calling my Mom, Nana and my Dad, Pop-Pop, which was my name for my grandfather. My husband parents are already Grandma and Grandpa, because that is what the other 17 grandchildren call them.
