    Default Kitchen Counter Help...which color?

We are building a new house and met with the Design center last week. I'm having a terrible time deciding which CeaserStone (quartz) counter to pick for the Cinnamon Cherry cabinets. The appliance package we've selected is Stainless Steel. Here are a few picture of the counters next to the cabinet. I'm not good with "Warm" and "Cool" colors. I think the Cinnamon Cherrywood is warm. Thanks in advance!

I like the carmel. I agree your cabinets are warm and I think the carmel is warmer than the Dakota Bluffs. But both are nice!

First of all, your cabinet choice is gorgeous! Second, while both of your pics are good choices, if you're willing to consider other colors, I really liked the following in order of preference:

2300 Creme Limestone--love the muddled golden honey tones, not speckled, has understated elegance-looks great with both stark white and stainless steel--it bridges the warm tone-cool tone gap between the cabinets and stainless appliances, would blend w/ the cabinets and not be the focal point
9205 Savannah--has the traditional speckled look w/out being so overpowering nor reading "black," "brown" or "grey" from a distance, but has enough cool tones in the background to meld well w/ SS appliances
9601 Oyster--this has the whitest background, so the counters would be the emphasis, not a monochromatic look, but in the photo galleries this color looks great w/ your color cabinets and stainless knobs

If you have access to more samples next to your cabs, that would be great. The caramel you have looks great in the picture you took, but in the gallery photos I've seen it reads a little green and a lot more "speckled" which can look busy and take the focus off the cabinets (which are gorgeous...did I mention that?) My 2 cents!

Thanks for the compliment on the cabinets, Larissa. The standard cabinet color that the builder installs is oak. There are 2 Cherry choices but the other one is a very rich dark color which is beautiful but I think it would show scratches easily. When you upgrade your kitchen cabinets, the whole whole gets the changed to the same ones and dark cherry in my kids' bathroom would be a nightmare. Besides, we really love the Cinnamon stain on these cabinets.

I'm not opposed at all to the white appliances. In fact, that was my first choice originally. I went with steel for the Dakota but can easily go back to white. I saw some gallery photos on the Ceaserstone website that featured a stainless steel cooktop and it didn't look all that great next to the Carmel counters.

The design center is a couple of hours away but I have a Ceaserstone resource 5 min from my house.

ETA: The Creme Limestone is very pretty. I'm kicking myself for not looking at that one when I was there.

Thanks. I think maybe the Dakota is almost like a cool tone. I have no idea. LOL
