I also have heard good things about their products. I think my contractor mentioned that they are made by Kitchenaid?

Fisher and Paykal is a brand from Austrailia. They make the drawer dishwashers. We have their refrigerator and love it. It keeps things at a very even teperature and we seem to keep food longer in it. On the down side we have the stainless steel and it dents terribly. I called about it and they said Yep the backing is a foam so it will dent.

We have it also and I love, love, love it. It is my favorite appliance purchase so far. Very good on water usage and I really love the different settings. I highly recommend it.

We were in the market for a new W&D after we sold our house last year. After MUCH research, we decided on the F&P set, and I've been very happy with them. The laundry forum on That Home Site is a wealth of information.

We had a dishwasher by them and it was such a piece of $1500 junk (we finally replaced it after only 3 years and 4 repairs) that I'd be very wary about spending a lot of money on anything else that they make!

Another "I love it!" vote here. I didn't realize how much until I used a new Kenmore at my friend's house the other day.
Pros:
The controls are super easy to use. There are lots of options for different wash cycles.
The spin cycle is amazing. It wrings out every possible drop. This was obvious when using the Kenmore.
Cons (just one):
I can't figure out how to pre-soak on it. I'm sure it is my confusion, but it seems it is programmed to soak only halfway through the cycle. This makes an Oxyclean pass not possible. There must be a way, as it is Washing Machine Requirement Top Five, but I have yet to crack the computer code to do so.
