Default spinoff on wearing make up to the ped's office- need make up help

for VERY oily break out prone highly sensitive skin. if i wear make up every day, for say, 3 days in a row, my skin looks HORRIBLE. but without make up, it is pretty much fine with a spot here or there. (yes, i am 32... what is UP with the term "teenage skin?")

i can only use keihls lotion and only the non-SPF on a regular basis, but i hardly even use it at all. i am NEVER dry.

what kind of make up can i use without breaking out like crazy?

now, i just never wear any unless i am going on a date with DH or wedding or something.

    maybe try something like this:

    http://www.drugstore.com/products/pr...-PLST-0-SEARCH

    spf, some color, one step.

you can try the clean and clear oil blotting sheets to help w/ the oil. Sorry to tell you tho that I am an oil slick during the summer and have not found anything that really works to control it.

on the plus side...fewer wrinkles down the road!

I used Proactiv for a few years and had no oil issues, but eventually it seemed to stop controlling breakouts. So I tried to switch to something else and OMG I had forgotten how oily my skin was! It was pathetic! So I went to a dermatologist for the first time in my life and got a pill called Spironolact - it was developed for something else (can't remember what) and they found out that it's biggest side effect was oil control! LOL So now it's pretty much used only by derms :) I can't live without it. I've tried when I was feeling poor one month and realized how big a difference it was making after just 2 weeks off of it.

I asked the derm about any other "bad" effects of taking it long term (other than cost) and they said none. It even controls the oil in my hair. It's wonderful. That, paired with differin (another prescription - retin a product) is a great combo for my now eventoned zit-free non-oily skin! I still use oil-free products though, but in the winter I find I need moisturizer.

check out www.cosmeticscop.com. She has very specific recommendations for those with your skin type ( I think she has that skintype herself). One thing is milk of magnesia as a mask for oily skin. I hope you can find some advice on her site.
