    Default Bunky Board or Plywood?

We just purchased a bed for our 2 1/2 son (a twin bed with railings) and they suggested we buy a "bunky board" to go in the bottom of it instead of a box spring. My husband said that we could just use a piece of plywood instead - anyone know what the difference is?

    Thanks!

Default RE: Bunky Board or Plywood?

Well, I believe a bunky board has some springiness to it, but not as much as a box spring. If I remember correctly (Ds' friend has one), it's maybe 2-3" in height.
