For the people who have this, I just bought mine yesterday, but I noticed in the store that the lid doesn't fit on it tightly. It snaps in the front, but the back is free. I tried several different pail/lid combinations and they all did this.
Is this everyone elses experience too? Is mine defective??

Hi Candy,
Mine did that too, but I did find that once I put my new Bummis tote :) in the pail and folded over the sides, I got a nice snug fit. It's seeming pretty air tight so far...

I did not have this problem with mine! The lid fits snugly with or without the liner.

Mine only snaps in the front also. I don't use a liner or bag in it either, just wash it out at each washing. I haven't had any problems with it smelling so it hasn't bothered me.
