    Hi!
I'm going to use cloth diapers, too, and so far the only diaper bag we have been able to find that a.) has enough space for cloth dipes and b.) isn't just one big black hole of potential disorganization is the Colorado Backpack by Catini (at BRU). It sells for about $40. I haven't used it, but another thing I liked about it is that I haven't found anything negative that users have said about it (as opposed to Eddie Bauer backpack dipe bags, etc.)I'm hoping to get one as a shower gift.

It comes with several large, zipping compartments that have all sorts of little plastic pockets for holding the small things. I think you can unzip it from the back.

Other than that, one bag that has received great reviews and was designed by a CD'ing mom is the Weebees diaper bag (www.weebees.com)
It is pricey, at almost $90, but it supposedly lasts and lasts, is machine washable, large and organized enough for cd's, converts to a backpack, and has a separate fanny pack/purse for carrying the bare necessities. Wall Street Journal has given it very high ratings. So if you have the money, that bag sounds like a dream.

Let me know how you go with this one, because this is an issue for me, as well.

    Blissful Mom and ???

Well, I have actually found that almost any bag is fine for CDs once your little one gets past the "pooping every time they eat" phase. I carry 2 cloth diapers in my bag and one disposable as a back-up.

My everyday bag is now an Eddie Bauer backpack diaper bag (the one sold at Eddie Bauer stores, not the ones at BRU and other baby stores). This is a really nice, well organized back. They were being clearanced awhile ago for $29 at the stores. http://www.eddiebauer.com/eb/product.asp?product_id=20492&nv=5|209&cm_cg=C209&t id=&c=&sc=

My "out all day" bag is the Combi Traditional bag. I love this bag. It is very well organized and holds a tons of stuff. http://www.combi-intl.com/combi/1501.htm

My "running to the grocery store" bag is my Lands End Little Tripper. I keep one AIO in it, just in case.

    Beth,

This is my first post to this wonderful message board...after perusing several of the forums for a few months now. I'm researching the whole CDing scenario so that I can gather "ammunition", if you will, to convince my DH that CDing is the way to go with our first baby due in early September!

I am trying to decide on diaper bags too...I'll definitely get the LE Little Tripper, but was also considering the LE Do-It-All for my "out all day" bag. How do you think the LE DIA compares with the Combi bag that you have for CDing? I'll probably get a backpack later on (Eddie Bauer, LE, or BabyTrend Activepak - which one?).

    Thanks,

I got my diaper bag made for me for only 25.00 and it looks like the fleurville bag.....jejeje i picked the fabric from a fabric shop and everything i actually am going to have made another one for short trips..They are excellent since they make them just the way you want it..I designed my own bag though with measurements and everything adn they made it exactly like i wanted it...

    www.thisoldbag.com

the fabrics on the website bite but she lets you pick from a fabric shop anyother fabric you would like...

plus she makes the wet bags to match your diaper bag...little unecessary detail but a really nice one for only 6.00

I would say that the LE Do it All is a little bigger than the Combi Traditional. To me, the Do it All is too big, but it depends on your packing style. I actually find I need a larger bag than I used to because I take so many toys and things with me to keep her occupied.

I like the EB diaper backpack better than the BabyTrend one, but many people seem to like the BabyTrend bag. (FYI, my EB bag is the one from EB store, NOT the EB bag at BRU which I have never used so can't fairly evaluate it.) I have seen the LE backpack and it also looks big to me. I think it is supposed to be Do it All sized in terms of storage space.

Well, my son is a tot so he's not pooping often. I usually carry 2-3 diapers (and some extras & clothes in the trunk b/c you never know what will happen).

I use the Avent backpack or a McKenzie Kids Backpack for longer trips.

I'm coveting the I'm Still Me - style of bags now though. ugh.
