We're using ApronStrings fleece pockets for night and hadn't had a problem until the past 2 nights. The stuffing isn't soaked through, but his pjs are wet. I think the problem is that he had been in fleece pjs and is now in cotton for the summer. The pockets are 200 weight and I thought they had been working great :(. Would getting a nylon pull-on cover to put over it be enough to keep him dry?

Hmm...I'm glad I'm using 300 wt for night time! I would think that if the nylon cover goes completely over the pocket, it would work just fine. Nothing seems to go through those, as long as absorbency is sufficient, which it seems to be in your case.
