Default New little potty concept... splashproof?

It looks like a frog to me, but comes in many colors http://www.theecstore.com/index.php?...oducts_id=1507
I couldn't resist ordering one, too bad I don't have a boy! But it looks nice and low and stable and fine for a girl, too.

Yep, I'm ordering one of those as well to make cleanup easier. The Graco Step stool one works fine, but there are too many parts to clean. And Kaya tends to pee forward (so that we need to use the splash guard with the Graco), so I'm thinking this will be just the thing to get.

Man, we need that. DS is always trying to go backwards on the Baby Bjorn potty.

Well, the potty is a bit smaller than we expected (but larger than the Baby Bjorn) so if Kaya sat back, she'd definitely splash out. But the nice thing is that it's narrower than her other potties, so it makes it much easier for her to put her legs on the side and to lean forward. When she does that, no splashing! She has pooped in it twice as well and so far, no problems at all. Basically, once I told her she needed to lean forward when she peed, she stopped having spill problems. Just now, she went on her own and I didn't even realized she had pooped and peed until she came into the room holding a wet wad of toilet paper and said she had wiped front to back, lol! Oddly enough, she did a pretty good job. Anyway, the thing I like best about this potty is that it is soooo much easier to clean. Yes, I still like the Graco 3-in-1 potty step stool (especially because of the soft seat and the ability to put the seat on the toilet), but this is so many times easier to clean. I will be putting the other potty up in the attic for later kids (since I think it's still a good one for initial training). Oh, and I got the potette travel potty as well and Kaya seems to like that one pretty well. In fact, she probably tried to pee 4 times in 30 minutes because she wanted to try the potette again, LOL. Granted, on the same day the potties arrived, Lizajane's wonderfully soft wipes arrived as well, so that was an additional motivation for her to "go". ;) Anyway, one nice thing about the potette is that I can use all those hundreds of grocery bags (plus a wipe or doubler inside to absorb pee) for the potty.

Yeah, we got ours the other day! It's definitely lower than the BBLP, and Leah should be able to climb on it sooner, I think.
The first time she actually peed in it, she was leaning way back, nursing, sitting on the counter in front of the sink. It definitely didnt' catch the stream as well as the BBLP (and she had the biggest pee ever...most of it went in the sink, at least!).

Leah had a lot of success in the Potette, we haven't used it since June, I really should pull it out and see if she'll like it again (yeah, like I'm some big time EC'er... she's got the cutest hot pink fuzzi bunz on today because I don't feel like cleaning up any pees, and we are having lots of misses now that pulling up and cruising are first on her list of things to do, lol).

I guess the difference is that Kaya understands when I tell her to lean forward to pee. :) But now that she's been doing it for a few days, she seems to have "gotten" it. We haven't tried the potette yet while out and about, but as I said, she seemed to like using it at home. I think she likes the idea of pulling out the grocery bag, putting it on the potette, adding a wipe, and then peeing on it, LOL! Yep, that's my engineer all right! ;)
