    Default Yeast or mucous plug?

Today, I passed what I think might have been my mucous plug (or a portion of my mucous plug). It looked like a big clump of vaginal discharge (but more tissue-y than just the normal lotion-y stuff. It was mostly white/yellow and slightly green in color, and it was no bigger than about an inch. It appeared on the toilet paper after I wiped front to back.

Could it have been a product of a reoccuring yeast infection rather than my plug? Could it have been a ball of yeast? I've never experienced a ball of yeast like that before. Last week, I did the 7-day Monistat treatment and I seemed to be fine until I experienced more itching last night. Saw my OB today and she recommended the 3-day yeast infection treatment.

I am due in 10 days. I am looking for signs of impending labor.

Thanks for whatever help you might offer!

No expert, but it sounds to me like the mucus plug. That's what mine was like. Unfortunately, I know some women pass them awhile before labor. Good luck!
