Default No Vaccinations & bfding vs formula

We're choosing to delay our dd's immunizations. Possibly till 6 months, possibly longer. We want more time to research the vaccines before giving any of them.

My question is...she is currently bf. Will there be any significant effect on her immune system if I have to stop bfding say at 6 months or something? Do bf babies have a better immune system then formula fed babies?

Default RE: No Vaccinations & bfding vs formula

Yes bf for a minimum of 1- two years and longer is recommended by all the major American and world health orgaziations because of it's clear benefits, but nutritionally and otherwise.
There are risks to formula feeding. A great resource is kellymom.com or la leche league international's site. They both have excellent information to help you make informed decisions.
    Good luck.
