So for the first time we threw a birthday party that included people other than family members. Now it's time to write thank you notes and I'm not sure how to handle it, and we haven't been to enough parties ourselves to recognize what the custom is for this sort of thing. Do you:
1. Write the note as a parent to the other parents.
2. Write the note as a parent to the other children.
3. Write the note as the child to the other children.
If we've received thank yous at all they've been in style #3, but it seems a little odd to me to write a note pretending to be my daughter. Or is that just how it's done? I need to stop thinking about this and get the notes out, help!
Thanks!
Chris
