    Default Pillow Question

When can they start sleeping with a pillow? My DS is 2 and I know he'd be more comfortable. Thanks!

    Default Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday to your DS!!! Hope his day was full of fun! It's such a fun age :-)

DD started sleeping with a pillow around 2 and she loves it! I found some at Ikea that aren't as thick as everywhere else I looked that work perfect for her.

Let us know if he likes it. I tried introducing them and he keeps moving it to the corner of the crib and ignoring it. So, not yet for us, anyway.

I know this was a big no-no, but I gave Ryden a pillow when he was about 18 months old. He wouldn't keep a blanket on at night and I was afraid of him getting cold, so I figured sleeping on a pillow would help him stay warm. He loves his pillow :)

My son has had one since he was about 12 months, maybe. Here's what I bought for both of the kids at a local boutique. It's a nice firm little pillow. It's made by icky baby, and this is just a website I googled; you could probably find them for less.

    Default Thanks!

Those pillows look great. I'll look for one in a local shop. I hope this does the trick!

I can't remember exactly, but maybe just before she turned 18 months. We got two small/child size ones from PBK (one for home and one for naps at daycare) and Sarah loves them! They have down and synthetic fill versions, and I don't find either overly puffy. The covers were more than the pillows themselves, but they still weren't too expensive. She won't use a blanket or sheet, but she is hooked on her pillow!

My DD started about 2. I bought one from here:

    They are adorable.

I think both kids were about 18 months and based on Beth's recs, I got them Pottery Barn Kids pillows and they both love their pillows and my 3 1/2 year old refuses to get a bigger one.

We got the 16" square ones and the decorative pillow cases fit them fine.
