    Default Sesame Street Pumpkins

    http://www.toughpigs.com/journalhalloween04.htm

I made an Elmo and Cookie too. For some reason I can not attach what I have done to date, but you'll get the drift.

I made them with the foam pumkins so we can save them for next year.

I bought the craft pumpkins (foam ones, $12.99 version at JoAnn's - 60% off now grrrrrrrrrrrrr),used craft paint (I used tempra for one and some random 3 for 99 bottle I got at ACMoore for another project)
Styrofoam balls (4), 1.5 in or so
Orange plastic easter egg (grabbed from the kids toy kitchen)
    Black Marker

I cut out mouths in the shape of a smile, the picture I looked at showed Elmos top of mouth to be straight and Cookie's slightly rounded.
I painted the pumpkins (Red for Elmo and Blue for Cookie)
The next day I drew black dots in the middle of the balls for eyes
Glued on the eyes with a hot glue gun, but I am sure Elmers would have worked too
    Glued on Elmo's nose

Elmo's eyes I made facing forward, and Cookie's were in two different directions.

Evan, 2, sits an points to Cookie and Elmo all the time. Loves them!
