Can anyone in NYC area recommend an LC?

I can't afford to go through several. I know I can call LLL, but I wondered if anyone here has personal experience. I think I need a home visit.

Sorry you are having problems and I hope you get them solved soon!

I'm not in NY, but I know from my own experience it was cheaper to go to the LC than have her come to our house. ($75 difference) Also, I loved the LC that I visited to rent a pump from and she didn't charge us for a consult because of the pump. She even told me to call her w/any questions.

I've only spoken to one here in NJ. If you go to www.iblce.org and look up New York, you will find some possibly more local.

It's expensive to begin with, and substantially more expensive for a home visit.

Let me know if you want the NJ one's number. She's 20 minutes from NYC, and is quite well known.

LOL - I'm in Queens...Nassau would work, but someone from Eastern Suffolk probably wouldn't travel.

Marisa, I'd love the number if she's good.

I defintely need a home visit, since some of the problem, as stupid as it sounds, is that I can't figure out where/how to nurse in our couch-less and virtually chair-less teeny tiny apartment!
