Default Menu planner for a baby?

This might be a weird question/problem. But I find that I feed DD the same foods every day. Sometimes I'lle ven buy new fruits or veggies, but I forget to give them to her, since, out of habit, I reach for the same things. I'm worried that she doesn't get a varied menu (really, she eats the same 10 items every week, even though she's been introduced to 20, which isn't that many either). For example, I have couscous that I bought 3 weeks ago and still have yet to introduce, and I have an apple in the fridge that hasn't been eaten for a whole week!

How bad is it for DD to not get a varied menu? She's still BF and all her food is healthy, just not different foods/

So, I was thinking of doing a menu planner - the same way I plan menus for dinner for DH and me. Is this too extreme? Does anyone have a better idea? :(
    Thanks,
    Caroline
