    Default Nursing pads

My DS is due pretty soon and I need to get some more nursing pads. I have 6 MOE pads I ordered from cotton babies but I know that won't be enough. There is a store here in town that carries the Bravado nursing pads and I was wondering what people thought of those or if you could recommend another good nursing pad. Also I was wondering how you wash your nursing pads. Is there anything I should avoid when washing them? Thanks for the help.

I didn't really care for the Bravado pads (they came free with my bra). If you want to use washable pads, I think that Shandelle (from these boards) makes really soft and comfy pads. She has gotten great reviews on her udder pads (nursing pads) and her mama moo pads (cloth maxis basically). Here is the link to her website:

I always washed my nursing pads with the regular laundry and put them in the dryer with no problems! I always liked to have disposable ones on hand too and I liked the Lansinoh the best. There are tons of threads on this if you want more recommendations.

    Good luck!

ITA with Debbi! :) Shandelle for cloth (the velour is soooo soft it's ridiculous) and Lansinoh (cheapest at Target in my experience) for disposable.

You know your life better than anybody else, but 6 might be plenty. 4 worked fine for me (I only leaked a lot during the early days, when we ended up doing wash at least once a day anyway.)
