I thought I was forgetting something!
OK, I know it's important to rinse to lessen gassiness. Can I do it *after* the soak, just before I cook? They've already soaked overnight & I want to try to salvage them.

The only reason you rinse beans before you soak them is to get any dirt off of them. I think you get rid of the soaking water to lessen the gassiness. Happy Cooking!

You know, now that you mention it, I never knew you weren't supposed to rinse after the soak! I always rinse beans after I soak and have had no problems.
