Default What to do about sun in DS's eyes?

My DS is still RFing in his MA. Lately when we've been in the car during the morning hours, he's been complaining about the sun directly in his eyes. From the rearview mirror, I can observe him turning his head to the side or away from the light, but I think the sun still bothers him. "Bothers" is an understatement, as he shrieks and cries and screams until the car is headed another direction, but sometimes he still carries on his residual crying jag, even if the sun is no longer there.

Is there anything I can do? I know those detachable sunshades people buy at BRU are a no-no, due to the projectile issue. DS won't wear sunglasses. I've started giving him a huge map to cover his face with, but I'm looking for a better solution. I don't want to get tinted windows, either.

I drive a 2002 Passat sedan, and DS is RFing in the center.

    Thanks for any help!

Detachable ones are fine, so long as they don't have the metal rod or other hard, stiff piece in them. Something like this: http://www.onestepahead.com/catalog/...mSource=Search or http://www.onestepahead.com/catalog/...dProductId=728 would work. The first is flexible with no hard parts to injure as a projectile.

I had some static cling ones that I bought at BRU, so check there, too.
